Erin Holbrook Johnson

Erin is originally from Massachusetts and moved to Oregon in 2006 after graduating from law school. Between Massachusetts and Oregon, she lived, worked, and studied in several countries, including England, Wales, and Azerbaijan, and in the city of Pristina (in the Republic of Kosovo). She completed a bachelor's degree at Columbia Union College in 2002, with a double major in 'History' and 'Philosophy and Religion.' She went on to complete her law degree at the University of Maryland, School of Law, with a concentration in Environmental Law.

After moving to Oregon, Erin volunteered for St. Andrew Legal Clinic and the Family Law Assistance Program in Washington County. She then worked for the Multnomah County Courts in family law departments for over seven years. She then transitioned to private practice as an associate for Stephens & Margolin, PC and will continue that role with Margolin Family Law.

Erin is passionate about family dynamics. Her most rewarding work is time spent with clients creating a plan that works for their families. She is fully trained as a collaborative lawyer. When using litigation, her goal is to move her clients through the family law courts as smoothly as possible. Erin works hard to allay fears and solve problems, allowing clients to move on with their lives as quickly as possible. Erin can assist you with your family law issues as well as your estate planning and elder law needs.

In her spare time, Erin enjoys running, reading, particularly British mysteries, exploring the Portland food scene with friends, a recently renewed interest in cooking, documentaries, and keeping up with grand slam tennis.
